Still riding that sweet "grow from within" wave...

Congratulations to our newest BCBAs and Supervisee!

Garrett Loders

Garrett joined Perch as a Behavior Technician in 2021 after having completed his Bachelor of Science in Psychology at MSU - Bozeman. He was asked to become a Lead BT in 2022 after demonstrating outstanding professionalism and clinical practice across multiple cases. We made it no secret among our group of BCBAs that we thought Garrett would make a stellar Behavior Analyst and (may or may not have) leaned on him a bit (or a bit more than a bit) to consider it. In late 2023, Garrett applied to University of Washington’s Masters of Education and Applied Behavior Analysis program. I enthusiastically accepted the honor of supervising his practicum experience and mentoring him through his fieldwork. Our entire supervisor team is eager to have him join us as a BCBA in 2026!!

Ilinca Ionescu

Ilinca graduated in 2024 with her Master’s in Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from University of Washington after completing 2 years of mentorship under my supervision with the wonderful support of our BCBA team. Like Garrett, Ilinca was immediately noticed by our supervisor team when she became a BT for Perch in 2019 and we went to work to gently encourage her to consider a career as a BCBA.

She began building a caseload as an Assistant Behavior Analyst in 2024 and earned her Board Certification as a BCBA in 2025! And it turns out, we were RIGHT! Ilinca has been a rockstar supervisor, case manager, and brings an unmatched level of pure joy to our team.

Cassandra Sylvester

Cassandra had an incredible year in 2024! She was Board Certified as a Behavior Analyst in July, married in August, and moved to Hawaii to be with her family in September! We will miss her greatly but know she is bringing wonderful things to the people of Hawaii that she serves and we still get to see her at CalABA!
